Home Inspections around Lake Jocassee
Foothills lake-property inspections in Oconee & Pickens County
Lake Jocassee is a deep, clear mountain reservoir tucked into the Blue Ridge Escarpment in Oconee and Pickens counties, fed by cold rivers flowing out of the mountains. Development around Jocassee is limited and much of the shoreline is protected, but the surrounding foothills near Salem and the greater Keowee–Jocassee area include homes we inspect.
Lake and foothills properties are a focus of ours. Whether it is a mountain retreat, a full-time residence, or a new build, you get a thorough inspection and a clear, photo-supported report.
Inspecting homes in the Jocassee area
Homes in the Jocassee and upper Keowee area are often on steep, wooded, remote lots served by private wells and septic systems. We inspect the visible, accessible condition of the structure, roofing, decks, drainage, and major systems, with attention to moisture management on sloping terrain.
Older mountain cabins may show wear on roofing, wiring, and crawlspaces, while newer construction warrants a look at build quality. Radon testing is available as an add-on across this part of the Upstate.
