New Construction Home Inspection
Pre-drywall and final inspections for new homes across the Upstate.
If you are having a home built in the Upstate, a new construction home inspection does not have to wait until everything is covered. We inspect new homes during construction and again as a final inspection so you know how the work was done, not only how it looks at closing.
Vaughn Home Inspection is insured for construction site inspections. Request a construction inspection with the property address and the builder’s schedule.
Pre-drywall inspection
A pre-drywall inspection documents structural, electrical, and plumbing components while they are still visible. That is the window to photograph framing, wiring, and piping before insulation and drywall hide them.
We report the visible, accessible condition of the work so you and your builder can address issues before they are enclosed. This is an inspection of what can be seen—not a code-compliance ruling or an engineering evaluation.
Final new-construction inspection
The final visit is a full home inspection of the completed house: roofing, exterior, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, interior, and the other systems covered in a buyer’s inspection. It is a separate appointment from pre-drywall, not a substitute for it.
